Our mission is to restore and equip God’s people to carry out their divine assignments. Grounded in the Great Commission, we are committed to making disciples of all nations, baptizing them, and teaching them to obey everything Christ has commanded.
The Vision
The Meeting Place Church is an Apostolic and Prophetic Church. We deliver the Word of God through teaching, preaching, worship, and prophetic activation so that believers can understand the fullness of God’s power. This empowers our community to live victoriously and walk in a prosperous life in Christ Jesus. Our primary focus is to make devoted disciples, not just church members

We are a church that believes in the power of the living Word of God. We hear, receive, and declare God’s Word over our lives. We are committed to preaching, teaching, and sharing what God has given us to say with the world.

God & Salvation
We believe in the eternal existence of God in three complete persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus Christ is God manifest in the flesh, born of a virgin, and without sin. He died on the cross for our sins, rose again, and ascended bodily back to heaven. Salvation is by God’s grace alone, based on the work of Jesus Christ, and received by faith apart from any human merit.
The Word of God
We cannot live without receiving the Word of God. We honor God by living according to His Word and saturating our hearts and minds with biblical truth.
The Holy Spirit
We believe the baptism of the Holy Spirit is available to all believers as a subsequent experience to salvation. This provides the power to be a witness and is evidenced by speaking in tongues and other charismatic gifts.
Discipleship & Evangelism
Discipleship is a daily decision to live a life that compels others to Christ, showing God’s restoring power even through our struggles and failures. We actively share our faith through actions and words, helping others find salvation and learn how to live the kingdom life.
Godly Culture
We live by the priority of God first, then family, then ministry. We cultivate a spirit of honor, choosing to unite rather than divide. Prayer is our lifestyle, unity is our strength, and love is our greatest aim. We also walk in love and forgiveness, and we believe in keeping a clear heart before God through confession and repentance.

Meet Our Leadership
Pastor
T.J. Scott, Sr.
Pastor T.J. Scott, Sr. is the founder and Senior Pastor of The Meeting Place Church. He is a man who has owned his mistakes, asked for forgiveness, and fully accepted God’s love into his life. By deciding to mature in his faith, he made it his mission to teach and preach the Word of God so that others can receive the same love and also mature. Licensed in 2015 and ordained in 2019 to preach the gospel, he diligently leads his home and congregation under God's leadership. Outside of the church, he is a financial advisor with Edward Jones, serving his clients with the exact same integrity, accountability, and leadership. He and his wife have four beautiful children.
Prophetess
R. Candice Scott
Prophetess R. Candice Scott is a devoted wife, mother, refinery operations supervisor, licensed realtor, and business owner. Beyond her titles, she is deeply passionate about seeing people become who God designed them to be. Licensed and ordained in 2007, she is the founder of Radiate Women’s Support Mission and SEATED Ministry. Through these platforms, she provides strength and supportive connections to help women who have momentarily lost their "GLOW" find their joy and restoration in God. Prophetess Candice believes strongly that character and integrity must always be valued more than position.
